It's funny to read/hear how people make a big deal of moving from crib to "big kid" bed. They put the new bed in the same room and let the kid get used to it then slowly have them start sleeping in it. I don't remember what we've done with the other kids. i do know that we just moved them to mattress on the floor then eventually a bed. Anyway, we knew that Nate had to move in the next month or two since Naomi will be needing the cot. We saw a bed for sale, bought it and moved him out of the cot all in one day. no talking about it, no telling him what we were going to do. We just did it. And at night so far it's working great. Naps?? well, that's another story. =)
