The girls have been asking to help cook so I try to find easy meals that they can make. At this season of our lives a lot of our meals are dump and stir type meals so it is easier for them to make. Last week Catie made beef and vegetable soup and cornbread, Emma made mostacioli (the meatballs were pre-made, cooked and frozen) and Beka made tuna noodle casserole. This week they asked if they could make pancakes. They all helped make the mix and then they all helped Daddy cook them on the BBQ. Makes for an easy dinner. We ate the pancakes with syrup, peanut butter, jam or cream. Served with a side of canned peaches it was a yummy meal that I hardly had to do anything. =)

After Beka opened her mouth so I could take a photo of her missing tooth, Nathan decided I should take a picture of his mouth too. And then Catie and Emma joined the fun. Then when I downloaded the photos Josh took of Easter morning I found these random photos. Apparently it's all the rage to take close up photos of people's noses and mouth. =)

Nathan isn't into group photos. Pretty much impossible to get him to stand or sit with the girls. Oh well. Thanks for the dresses, bags, hairbows and shirt, Grammy!! We love them!

While looking through the archives for those photos of Emma eating yogurt I was struck by how much Emma and Nathan look alike. These are just two of the many photos of Emma that I think look just like Nathan. What do you think?
